Oracle SCM Cloud – Using Product Development

Oracle SCM (Supply Chain Management Cloud) is a cloud-based application built by Oracle. It unifies end-to-end business processes considering the changing supply chain needs of the modern enterprises. It incorporates the digital supply chain with capabilities that include product innovation, strategic material sourcing, outsourced manufacturing, integrated logistics, Oracle SCM Cloud allows to deploy functionality incrementally, with minimal risk, lower cost, and maximum flexibility—all with the benefit of ongoing functional innovation and operating a more sustainable supply chain.

Participants in the Oracle SCM Cloud – Using Product Development Implementation course will learn how to use the application as an end user so that they understand how it should be configured for specific use cases. They will create and edit items and organize them into a product structure, otherwise known as a bill of materials. Participants will also create manufacturer parts and relate them to items in a structure. And finally, they will use a change order to mark up changes to a product structure and submit the change order for approval.
