Officer – Products (SME, Consumer & Agri) -Bank of Punjab (BOP)

Officer – Products (SME, Consumer & Agri) play a vital role in a bank’s operations. They cater to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), consumers, and the agriculture sector. By offering specialized services and products to these segments, banks can support economic growth and financial inclusion. This strategic focus on different customer segments helps banks diversify their revenue streams and build strong relationships with clients.

Major Responsibilities

Conduct research for relevant products/services, along with development of comparative analysis on periodic basis and review of existing products and preparation of gap analysis, preparation of concept papers/ product guidelines/ amendment proposals for new and existing products/services.
Review and update product manuals, process flows, SOPs and other product related documents.
To obtain approval from competent authorities with respect to update existing and new products coordinate with IT/ CBS for development and/or necessary changes in the system.
Coordinate with IT for UAT of the system with respect to update existing products or Introduction of new products.
Assist Department Head in liaison with Shari’ah Compliance Department and other relevant department for guidance on practical Issues faced by branches/departments.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor`s or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/ foreign university.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of banking experience Preferably 01 year in same role. Having work experience
in Product development/ Credits/ CAD/ Consumer, preferably in Islamic Financial Institution.
