Trade Finance Officer-United Bank Limited (UBL)
Trade Finance Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating international trade transactions. They are responsible for managing letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other financial instruments that help mitigate risks involved in cross-border trade. Their expertise in trade finance enables businesses to expand their global reach and establish secure trading relationships with partners around the world. The Trade Finance Officer’s attention to detail and knowledge of international trade regulations are essential in ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for their organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion of Import Letter of Credit request from client and forward to CPU Imports
- Completion of Export Documents from customer and forward to Trade Processing Cente
- Completion of Export Advance Payments documents from customer and forward to Trade Processing Center.
- Follow up with customers for submission of export documents against export Advance Payment
- Follow up with customers for submission of IMPORT documents against export Advance Payment
- Liaison with Business team for completion of on barding of New Trade Customer as per SBP TBML Criteria.
- Client visits with Business Team when required.
- Provide required information to walking customer regarding Trade related products & services
- Complete documents for issuance of bank guarantees and forward to Trade Processing Center
- Complete documents for Discounting of Bank Guarantees and forward to Trade Processing Center
- Complete documents for issuance of Amendment in Bank Guarantees and forward to Trade Processing Center
- Complete Inland Documents from customers and forward to Trade Processing Center
- Support to Business Team for completion/updating Trade Related EKYC
- Complete documents from customer and forward the same to TPC for disbursement of Export Loans
- Complete documents from customer and forward the same to CPU Imports for disbursement of Import Loans
- Liaison with Business Teams as well as with customers for timely adjustment of Trade Loans
- Liaison with Business Teams as well as with customers & TPC for early approval/creation of FI at PSW Portal against exports
- Any other Task assigned by Line Manager/Supervisor
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from any HEC-recognized Institute
- 2-3 years of experience in this capacity
