Manager Project Management (Structures)-National Logistics
A manager in project management plays a vital role in overseeing the progress and ensuring the successful completion of various projects. They are responsible for coordinating tasks, assigning roles, and monitoring the team’s performance. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for a manager in project management to navigate through challenges and keep the project on track.
Job Expectation:
- Apply technical knowledge to meet all stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure that each completed structure / building meets local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Deliver structurally sound designs capable of withstanding routine use, the elements, and inspection.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring it’s completed on time and within budget.
- Set design protocols according to relevant codes and standards.
- Advise civil engineers on best practices in building design and execution.
- Analyze project goals and perform structural calculations.
- Design structural elements of each project using computer software & ERP.
- Make recommendations for materials to use and ensure safety measures.
- Oversee project management, like tracking budgets and maintaining a database of projects and their progress.
- Review drawings and provide feedback to contractors.
- Perform field visits and write reports detailing project viability and progress.
- Ensure compliance of construction materials and methodologies.
- Ensure Problem-solving to quickly address issues that arise on-site and keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance, zoning, and building legislation.
- Submission of check request to client for approval of work.
- Site Management and Liaison with Contractor.
- Managing Site Structure Works, organization of activities and supervision.
- Carry out detailed analysis of construction designs and documents with reference to execution and quantities and will intimate his observations to Project Manager.
- Progress update on daily basis for planned activities for next 24 hours (with timings).
- Will remain abreast with rules and regulations and specs about the work and ensure quality of work being executed is according to design / general specifications.
Experience:
Minimum 08 years relevant experience in Infrastructure Projects along with expertise in Primavera P-6, Revit, Excel and ERP. Candidates must have field experience of Structures / Buildings. Applicants having experience of likewise organizations will be preferred.
